I've said it before: I think this is a great community for meeting other christians with a wide range of viewpoints and experience, and learning about many other people's points of view. Hopefully this helps us each grow in faith and as human beings ( Read more... )

I just want to say Thank you to the Mods for doing such a great job. I have tried to be a part of forums before where people are just out of control and don't allow for honest discussion of things. I really need this community. And I'm very happy that there is just love in here regardless of demoninations etc... SO thank you Mods! God Bless!

I was thinking last night how cool it would be if next year at this time we all decide to meet someplace and have a reunion of the  christianity LJ class of 2007.

A few posts back, some people mentioned that they were frightened of death. Indeed, I asked a question about this on my LJ in a poll a couple years back and it seemed like many of my friends feared death, and what struck me as interesting was that it generally seemed like my atheist friends were less likely to fear death than people of faith. I have a friend from high school who teaches at an inner city school. She does a postcard project where she asks people to send postcards from all over the US and the world to her students and they put them up on the board during the year. They use this to better understand the world. The students really love the project. I would really appreciate ( Read more... )
